The Information Kerala Mission (IKM) has successfully deployed the Citizen Service Modules of the K-Smart application across all local bodies in Kerala. Using advanced technology, K-Smart is transforming the way Local Governments serve citizens.
With the rapidly evolving concept of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), there is a significant opportunity to enhance public service delivery by transitioning K-Smart to a unified digital infrastructure. DPI enables:
Digital ID systems

Interoperable payment networks

Access to mobile and internet services

Efficient crisis response

Scalable economic and social services
To guide this transformation, IKM invites experienced IT professionals and startup ecosystem leaders to volunteer as members of its DPI Advisory Board.
Role Highlights

Advise IKM on AI, block chain, and emerging technologies

Assist in digital policy creation and procurement strategy

Collaborate directly with the CMD and Executive Director of IKM

Influence digital transformation initiatives impacting millions of citizens
Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 15 years of experience in the IT sector

Expertise in deploying cutting-edge tech solutions for public use

Ability to travel independently (self-funded)
-
Commitment to volunteer service (no remuneration)
