Information Kerala Mission introduced e-payment facilities in panchayat. This is an ambitious project introduced by Information Kerala Mission, a lasting solution to the burden of visiting government offices and spending hours to pay taxes. As part of its efforts to further the use of Information Technology in streamlining the delivery of services by local self-government bodies, Information Kerala Mission is gearing up to extend e-payment facilities to more local bodies. In Panchayat level, Information Kerala mission introduced the e-payment facility in Manjeswaram panchayat, Kasargod District. Hon. Chief Minister Shri Ommen Chandi inaugurated the E-payment facility in Manjeswaram Grama Panchayat. The e-payment facility is driven by the software, Sanchaya, developed by IKM. Citizens can log on to www.tax.lsgkerala.gov.in/epayment for making their payments online.
