Kerala has become the first state in the country to have a digital superhighway. Information Kerala Mission has established this digital superhighway for all panchayats in the state. Panchayats linked through virtual private network that allows unlimited data sharing among them. The network was launched by Hon. Minister for Panchayts and Social Welfare Dr. M.K. Muneer. This is by far the largest VPN Network established in the State.
