Mode of appointment : On contract basis for 1 year, which may be extended on need basis and based on the performance of the candidate.
About the position:
We are looking for Data migration specialist/DataBase Administrator to join our team. Candidate with strong exposure to data migration and postgreSQL with 5+ years of experience in migrating data between disparate systems. Hands-on experience with MS Excel and Macros. Works with data collection teams to collect, clean and migrate legacy data into the platform. You should also be conformtable with postgres DB integration with backend applications, with large volumes of data transactions. You should be familar with all infrastructure related tools to debug issues in a quick way.
Job requirements:
Mandatory:
- Several years as a DBA, migration specialist role is required.
- Hands-on experience with python or other scripting languages.
- Experience in database performance fine tuning and troubleshooting.
- Previous experience of working with RDMS (postgreSQL).
- Experience in Database administration backuprestore, replications etc.
Added Advantage
- Previous experience in cloud native migration tools like AWS DMS, AWS SCT, Azure DMS will be added advantage.
