Saankhya, the Accrual based double entry accounting package has been implemented in all Local Government Institutions in Kasaragod District. It is the first district in Kerala with 100% coverage. Apart from the Grama Panchayats it has been implemented in all 48 Local government institutions in the district including 1 District Panchayat, 6 Block Panchayats,38 Grama Panchayats and 3 Municipalities.
